Flu Shots

Today i got my very first flu vaccine! In one of my public health classes we were having a discussion on the pros and cons of getting vaccines in general, and it surprised me that a lot of people were not going to get the flu vaccine this year. Most of my fellow students said that they were not going to get the flu vaccine because shots are too "painful" and that they would rather be sick for a week than get a flu shot. Hopefully the doctors picked the right strain of the flu vaccine to give me and I won't get it this year!
