I AM The Mother

Tonight a salesman knocked on our door and asked me if my mother was home. When I told him that I WAS the mother, he laughed and said I looked really young. He then proceeded to try to sell me some magazines or donate money so he could go on a trip to Australia. I said we wern't interested. He said that if I didn't buy any magazines from him, than other sellers would keep on knocking on our door to sell us magazines. I said that I would just tell them that my mother wasn't home. Hopefully that will keep the sales people away!

Wow that's pretty funny that he would almost insault you for saying that you look young. I hope if anyone else does come around that you just say your mom isn't home.

I have come to start telling sales people that I am the babysitter just so they leave me alone:) (Because I get the same question you do ALL the time!)

Haha! That reminds me of the time I was taking a phone message for my brother and the guy leaving a message spelled his last name out for me . . . B - R - O - W - N. The funny part is I was in high school! :)
